There will be blessings conducted by the Maha Sangha throughout the 3 days starting from Chinese New Year Eve till the 18th of February. Oil lamps and lotus candles are available for sponsorship for peace and prosperity.

B. Meditation Retreats
Venerable Bambalapitiye Gnanaloka (Sri Lanka)
3rd November to 7th November 2025
Theme of Retreat – Saddhammadhara Meditation Retreat – To cultivate mindfulness, calm and insight.
The number of devotees attending daily was on an average of 25 to 27.






C. Sutta Class with Bhante Gangodawila Chandima Thera (Canada)
Bhante Chandima has conducted 102 continuous classes as at 8th December 2025 since he started in July 2023. Bhante has covered 10 suttas and is now on the 11th Sutta which is the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta (MN10)



D. Meditation Classes with Ayya Nanda
Ayya Nanda of Sri Lanka has been conducting meditation classes since December 2024. The classes are conducted every Sundays at 6.30pm to 8.00pm at the Bhavana Sala, Wisma Dharma Cakra.


E. 8 Precepts Programme in commemoration of Sanghamitta Day – 4th December
A special 8 Precepts programme was held to commemorate the glorious Buddhist nuns and women of the Past and Present. The programme included meditation sessions and dhamma talks to cultivate the mind and was conducted by Venerable Kotawaye Suseela Thera from Canada.



Other BMV Activities
Friends of the Vihara (FOV) Grocery Bag Distribution to Orang Asli Villages. ( Kg Ulu Geruntum & Kg Ulu Poh in Gopeng, Perak) on 1st November 2025
At 6.00am on the 1st of November, 30 volunteers arrived at Vihara to commence removing the grocery items from FOV store and loading onto the 9 pick-up trucks, 3 SUVs and a 3ton lorry.
After completion of loading at 6.45am, volunteers had a simple breakfast at the kitchen area followed with a short briefing by Bro Ng on the route and 1st regrouping checkpoint. The convoy departed from Vihara at 7.30am and reached the 1st regrouping checkpoint at Pusat Penjaja Gopeng at 9.30am for toilet break & refreshments before moving into Kg Ulu Geruntum led by the village headman.
Arriving at the community hall in Kg Ulu Geruntum, volunteers began unloading the grocery items, sorting and arranging in neat rows for distribution while registration of the 140 families is on-going. Distribution completed by 1.30pm with a group photography session with all the recipients and volunteers.
A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers and drivers who sacrificed their weekend to bring joy to the Orang Asli folks in Kg Ulu Geruntum & Kg Ulu Poh. Also our sincere appreciation to all sponsors and donors for their generous contributions in supporting and making this distribution a success.
